Importing

The following steps describe the importing process.

IMPORTANT! Files are NOT stored in the application maintaining only a reference to the file(s)/folder(s) already on your hard drive or servers.  If after import the application cannot find the referenced file(s)/folder(s), the assets will appear gray in the lists.

Drag and Drop

1. Locate and select your desired files.
2. Drag the files to the application icon or directly onto the main window.
3. Sound Grinder will then import the chosen files.  You may pause the import by clicking on the Pause button and then resume the import by clicking on the Resume button.

Import File(s) and Folder(s) Menu Command

1. Select Import Files(s)/Folder(s)... from the File menu.
2. Select the desired file(s)/folder(s) and click Choose.
3. Sound Grinder will then import the chosen files.  You may pause the import by clicking on the Pause button and then resume the import by clicking on the Resume button. 

Note: If you are adding files that are already listed in the Asset List, the duplicate files will not be imported again.
