This section describes the various ways in which assets and information about those assets can be viewed.
The Asset List shows the contents of the current selection in the Master List. Use the Asset List to view certain information about the assets directly and select assets to view more detailed information or initiate playing, editing, and processing. You can change which columns are displayed in the Main Window section in Preferences.

The Master List is the primary Database view, and is divided into the following sections: Libraries Sets Smart Sets Bins Recent Searches |
Asset List
The Asset List shows the contents of the current selection in the Master List. Use the Asset List to view certain information about the assets directly and select assets to view more detailed information or initiate playing, editing, and processing. You can change which columns are displayed in the Main Window section in Preferences.
Asset Info
The Asset Info tab displays the expanded details of the selected assets including audio specifications, and metadata, if applicable. Depending upon the assets selected, some or all of the following information will be displayed.
General
This section displays high-level information about the assets. Click “Reveal in Finder” to trigger the Finder to show the referenced file.
Audio Track 1, 2, 3...
These sections provide detailed information for each audio track.
Video Track 1, 2, 3...
These sections provide detailed information for each video track.
Broadcast Extension
This section provides viewing and editing of the Broadcast Extension metadata.
Database
This section provides the viewing and editing of various Database information including the user-defined fields. The names of the user- defined fields can be edited in Preferences.
FLAC Comments
This section provides viewing and editing of the FLAC Comments metadata.
ID3 Tags
This section provides viewing and editing of the ID3 tags metadata.
iTunes Metadata
This section provides viewing and editing of the iTunes metadata.
MPEG 4 Metadata
This section provides viewing and editing of the MPEG 4 metadata.
Pro Tools Metadata
This section provides viewing and editing of the Pro Tools metadata.
Quicktime Metadata
This section provides viewing and editing of the Quicktime metadata.
Soundminer Metadata
This section provides viewing and editing of the Soundminer metadata.
Vorbis Comments
This section provides viewing and editing of the Vorbis Comments metadata.
WAVE Info
This section provides viewing and editing of the WAVE Info metadata.
Video Preview
The Video Preview tab displays the video content of an asset during playback. This feature is helpful in referencing the video content of imported Quicktime movies. Once you have imported Quicktime movies, you can export the audio content in the same manner as standard audio files.
