Smart Sets are dynamic collections of assets based on selection criteria. Specify your criteria and Library Monkey will automatically locate those assets, and automatically update the collections when changes are made to the Database.
To Create a Smart Set:
- Create a Smart Set by one of the following:
- Select New Smart Set... from the Database menu.
- CONTROL+click a Smart Set and select New Smart Set... from the contextual menu.
- Press SHIFT+COMMAND+K. The Smart Set Settings window will appear.
- Name your new Smart Set.
- Choose if you want any or all criteria to be met.
- For each criteria to be specified, click the (+) button to add a criteria and then specify the details for this criteria.
- Click the (-) button to remove that selection criteria.
- Click OK when you are finished.
- Select the new Smart Set in the Master List to view all assets that match the criteria.
To Change Criteria for a Smart Set:
- Select the Smart Set in the Master List.
- Open the Smart Set Settings window by one of the following:
- Select Edit Smart Set... from the Database menu.
- CONTROL+click on the Smart Set and select Edit Smart Set... from the contextual menu.
- Double+click on the Smart Set.
- Press OPTION+SHIFT+COMMAND+K.
- Make your desired changes.
- Click OK when you are finished.
To Rename a Smart Set:
- Select the Smart Set to rename in the Master List.
- Rename the Smart Set by one of the following:
- Select Rename Smart Set... from the Database menu.
- CONTROL+click on the Smart Set and select Rename Smart Set... from the contextual menu.
To Duplicate a Smart Set:
- Select the Smart Set to rename in the Master List.
- Duplicate the Smart Set by one of the following:
- Select Duplicate Set(s) from the Database menu.
- CONTROL+click on the Smart Set and select Duplicate Smart Set(s)... from the contextual menu.
To Remove a Smart Set:
- Select the Smart Set to remove in the Master List.
- Remove the Smart Set by one of the following:
- Select Remove Set(s)... from the Database menu.
