Use a Convert Session to process audio files with the full processing engine of Library Monkey without the need to import assets into the Database.
To Initiate a Convert Session
- Select New Convert Session… from the File menu.
- Drag files and folders onto the Library Monkey application icon while holding down the OPTION key.
- Select files and folders in the MacOS Finder, CONTROL+click the selection, and select Import for Processing from the Library Monkey menu (in the More menu in MacOS 10.5 and later).
- Select a single file or folder in the MacOS Finder and select Import for Processing in the Library Monkey menu in the Services menu in the Finder menu.
Once files are imported, you can continue processing as described in the Process section of this document.
Saving and Opening Sessions
At any time, any session may be saved. Session files can also be passed to another user working on the same project. If the session files reference any files on a server, as long as the other user mounts the server using the same name, they will be able to access all audio assets in the session file. Some saved session files are also compatible with other Monkey Tools products.
