Edit sessions provide way to edit in a dedicated session that can be saved and recalled as needed.
Prerequisite
- A fully licensed pro version of Sound Grinder and Library Monkey.
Note: The Waveform Editor is a non-destructive editor. No changes are made to the original file until the Commit Changes to Original File Action is performed.
Create an Empty Edit Session
- Select New Edit Session from the File menu.
Create a New Edit Session From a Selection
- Make a selection in the Waveform Editor.
- Select New Edit Session from Selection from the File menu.
Save an Edit Session
- Select Save As or Save from the File menu.
All Fades, Loops, Markers, Regions, as well as the current selection and navigation and view options are saved. The edit history is not saved so opening a previously saved Edit Session will start at the current state.
Open a Previous Edit Session
- Select Open Session... from the File menu and select the previous session.
- Double+click on the session icon in the Finder.
Create an Edit Session Using the Contents of the Pasteboard
- Make a selection in the Waveform Editor.
- Cut or Copy the selection to the Pasteboard.
- Select New Edit Session from Pasteboard from the File menu.
