Using Markers

Markers specify a specific point in the audio content. Although you can create as many markers as you want in the Waveform Editor, they may be limited by the file type at export. 

Create a Single Marker

  1. Select a point in the waveform.
  2. Select Mark in the Selection menu or press Enter
  3. Name the Marker.
  4. Click OK.

Create Two Markers at Once

  1. Select the desired audio content.
  2. Select Mark in the Selection menu or press Enter
  3. Name the Markers.
  4. Click OK.

Move a Marker

  • Click+drag the marker name.

Change Marker Properties

  • Double+click the marker name.
  • OPTION+click the marker name and select Properties... from the contextual menu.
  • Select the Marker from the Marker menu in the Edit menu.

Remove a Marker

  • OPTION+click the marker and select Remove from the contextual menu.
